TMEA 2023-Above-I'm in the middle of John Mackey's Divine Mischief Concerto with the SFA Wind Ensemble on February 9 at Lila Cockrell Theatre in San Antonio. Right-after the concert with John Mackey and the clarinet section of the SFA Wind Ensemble.

Just before Christmas, 2022, I made it to NYC and met with Tomoji Hirakata to have a little work done on my clarinets. Tomoji-san is literally a "Woodwind Wizard!"

Summer '22 in Japan and I was able to get to the Yamaha atelier in Osaka. Head technician Isawo Miyachi tuned up my B-flat clarinet!

I was really happy to present a clarinet clinic at the 75th Midwest Clinic in Chicago...fantastic to be back in-person!

75th Midwest Clinic-after the Dallas Winds concert on Thursday night with a couple of former SFA clarinet students who are now band directors in the DFW Metroplex-Cesar Montelongo and Juan Romero. They performed with the Mansfield Winds at a Wednesday morning performance at the conference!

I didn't get to use this! Because of the corona virus, the 2020 Music for All National Festival was canceled...I was honored to have been asked and I hope I get the chance again in the future. Congratulations to all of the bands selected to perform!
